About Us
Sit back. Relax. We’ve got this.
At CREC Property Management, we started this business with a simple belief: real estate is one of the smartest investments you can make — but managing it shouldn’t feel like a second job. We’ve seen how the stress of maintenance requests, tenant coordination, and endless to-do lists can overshadow the rewards of owning rental property. That’s where we come in.
Our goal has always been to offer peace of mind to property owners by taking care of the details, so they can focus on living their lives. Whether you’re building your portfolio or simply holding onto one great rental, we’re here to make ownership feel effortless.
Our Mission
You live your life — we’ll handle the rest.
Our mission is rooted in service, trust, and providing complete peace of mind. Whether you're on vacation, working late, or just enjoying your favorite coffee shop, you should feel confident knowing your property is being cared for by a team that treats it like their own.
What Makes CREC Different
We’re more than property managers — we’re people who care.
We believe great service starts with real connection. At CREC, we go beyond the basics to offer a personal, proactive approach tailored to your needs. Our team shows up, follows through, and keeps communication clear — because we know your property matters to you.
Whether you have one home or a hundred, you’ll always receive the same high level of attention, care, and respect. When you choose CREC, you’re not just hiring a vendor — you’re gaining a dedicated partner who’s as invested in your success as you are.

I have been happily married for 22 years and am a proud mom of a 21-year-old College of Charleston graduate. McKenna McConnell
Property Manager
Hello! My name is McKenna McConnell, and I am proud to serve as a Property Manager with CREC, where I work closely with our team to provide seamless service and results for both property owners and tenants. I bring a strong foundation of professionalism and care from my years in the hospitality and tourism industry, where I learned the value of clear communication, detailed portfolio management, creative problem-solving, and leadership. Transitioning into property management and real estate was a natural next step in my career and has allowed me to blend my passion for helping others with my drive to achieve measurable results. I believe that every interaction is an opportunity to build trust and foster lasting relationships, and I strive to make the property management experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for everyone involved.
Although I am not originally from Charleston, the Lowcountry has felt like home since I was a small child. The charm of its historic streets, the warmth of its community, and the beauty of its rivers and marshes inspired me long before I ever moved here, and relocating permanently in 2021 was a dream realized. I take great pride in connecting people to this remarkable area and in ensuring that their experience here is as meaningful and welcoming as Charleston has always been to me.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancé, our spirited Boykin Spaniel, Cooper, and our sweet calico cat, Coco – they keep life exciting! You can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes or baking something special to share with friends and family. I also enjoy exploring Charleston’s historic sites, visiting our favorite local restaurants, and relaxing by the Cooper River with good company.
Mark Facklam
Field Services & Property Compliance Coordinator
My name is Mark Facklam. I serve as the Field Services and Property Compliance Coordinator at CREC Property Management. I’m also a Realtor with a career that spans over three decades. In this role, I’ve had the privilege of assisting friends, family, and neighbors in achieving homeownership. It’s incredibly fulfilling to support them as they begin the next exciting chapters of their lives. Through clear communication, identifying needs, and advising clients in this ever-changing business, I’ve been fortunate to find great success.
A year ago, I decided to diversify my career by becoming a Property Inspector at CREC. I’ve truly enjoyed this addition to my experience and now serve as the Field Services and Property Compliance Coordinator. In this role, I help property owners gain peace of mind by ensuring their properties are well cared for and maintained, while also supporting tenants with any concerns.
Prior to this, I served in the United States Air Force as a plumber in the 564th Civil Engineering Squadron. That experience allowed me to learn electrical, sheet metal, and carpentry work, while also handling housing repairs and emergency calls. Later, as a civilian, I became a GS government employee working for the USAF as a Facility Manager in Guam. In that position, I oversaw multiple dormitories for service members, inspected housing, and supervised operations to ensure facilities were maintained and running smoothly and efficiently.
Charleston has been my home for over 25 years. Originally from the Adirondacks, I enjoy hiking, biking, and kayaking. I’m also a proud father of two grown children and a very confident little dachshund.
GB Felicio
Assistant Property Manager
Hi I’m GB, I’ve spent the last few years supporting real estate teams from behind the scenes — a role I genuinely enjoy. Now at CREC Property Management, I’m proud to be the right hand to Christen, our BDM. My role is all about making her day easier, whether that’s helping onboard new clients, managing communications, or keeping things running smoothly in the background.
I bring a personal, thoughtful touch to every interaction, and I’m passionate about creating a great experience for both our team and our clients.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me enjoying life with my family, hitting the road for a weekend drive, or relaxing by the beach.
Fritzie Valenzona
Property Support Specialist
At CREC, I keep the gears turning behind the scenes by supporting our Property Managers with renewals and lease agreements, onboarding new owners and properties, and tackling projects that make our day-to-day operations run smoothly. I love that my role lets me lean into my strengths—organization and attention to detail—while knowing I’m helping create a seamless experience for both owners and tenants.
Before joining CREC, I worked as a Guest Experience Specialist at a short-term rental company, where I honed my knack for customer service and problem-solving. Prior to that, I spent more than two years as a government secretary, building a strong foundation in administration, communication, and keeping all the moving parts in order.
Outside of work, you can usually find me writing, catching up on some much-needed rest, or playing musical instruments—my favorite creative outlet.
Joe Stavey
Field Inspector
I’ve been a Realtor since 2017, proudly helping clients buy, sell, and invest across the Lowcountry, the Grand Strand, and beyond. People often ask why I do business all over the state, and I like to joke that living on Edisto Island means by the time I hit Highway 17, I’m already halfway to everywhere!
In addition to real estate sales, I thrive on the fast-paced, ever-changing world of Property Management. No two days are the same—and that’s exactly what I love about it. From solving challenges to guiding tenants into homeownership, I find joy in creating smooth experiences and building lasting relationships.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me enjoying the laid-back coastal lifestyle, exploring hidden gems around the Lowcountry, or spending time with family and friends. Real estate isn’t just my career—it’s my passion, and I feel privileged to help people find their place here in South Carolina.
